Simply3D Star Wars Animations (1999)

I remember that my dad brought his brick of a work laptop home. It had a version of MicroGrafx Simply3D installed. On the internet I found a couple of models of Star Wars ships (to this day I wonder how that happened), and I started to create my first animations. Simply3D only had basic animations, like 90 degree rotation counter clockwise. I tried my best to recreate shots of the Battle of Endor with what I had. I knew nothing about compositing, but I knew they used a blue screen in the movies, so I used Windows Movie Maker (I guess) to composite everything together. Everything was saved in some exotic AVI codec, at 800x600 pixels, that VLC Player could play, but not convert. So I used a screen recorder to record everything in one go.
